The Eastern Ontario Heath Unit (EOHU) is holding two school-based walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics for all individuals aged 5 and over this coming weekend, February 12 and 13, at these two locations:
- Saturday February 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Secondary School, 1450 Second Street East, Cornwall
- Sunday February 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at École Secondaire Catholique L’Escale, 1535 Du Parc Avenue, Rockland
First, second and third doses of COVID-19 vaccine will be available at the clinics.
Please note: It is recommended that children receive the second dose on or about eight weeks after the first dose. The minimum amount of time that must have passed since the first dose is 21 days.
Individuals can also book a vaccination appointment at a community-based clinic through Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccination portal at covid19.ontariohealth.ca or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1 833 943-3900. COVID-19 vaccines are also available at participating pharmacies and healthcare providers’ offices. For children who have barriers preventing them from physically going to a vaccination clinic, parents/guardians can call the EOHU at 1 800 267-7120 to discuss alternate arrangements.
