Citizen recognized for bravery at Pointe-au-chêne fire

A Pointe-au-chêne resident has been recognized for his efforts to help save residents of a fire that destroyed an apartment building in the village on March 5.

Brian Robitaille was driving by the former Hotel Gascon building and noticed the fire.  He stopped and helped evacuate the residents and notified the fire department of the situation.

On March 9, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge council approved a resolution congratulating Robitaille for his bravery at the fire.
