The City of Brownsburg-Chatham is informing citizens that as of Friday, March 13, a watch has been implemented in order to collect all the information relevant to its citizens. Municipal buildings including library, arena, city hall, workshops and community center (Louis Renaud) are now closed to the public, until further notice. However, you can contact the City Services by phone or by email:

All public activities in Brownsburg-Chatham are now suspended for at least two weeks. It will advise residents of any changes.

Regarding the payment of taxes with the deadline for the first payment of March 18, 2020, citizens will have until April 3, 2020 to make their payment. It is also possible to deposit a check in the slot provided for this purpose near the front door to City Hall, to use Internet payment or banking institutions.

“To prevent the spread of the virus, the City of Brownsburg-Chatham asks its citizens to comply with the instructions of Quebec Public Health,” said Catherine Trickey, mayor of Brownsburg-Chatham.

The municipality, which is advising people not to panic, but to concentrate on reducing personal contact, is doing everything to minimize the inconvenience.
