Known at ‘the convent’, this building was demolished in 2017; an addition at the rear of the building had been demolished earlier, when a plan to create a spa met with complications. The tower portion was salvaged and will form part of a makeover of St. Andrew’s Church on King Street in L’Orignal. Semi-detached dwellings were built on the Higginson Street and Stanley Street property in Vankleek Hill.
