On Saturday, August 9, the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie d’Argenteuil (CCIA) organized its second Rallye de la CCIA, beginning at Parc Barron in Lachute, encouraging residents, tourists, and those interested in local businesses to take part in a variety of games and challenges held throughout the day.

Founded in 1947, the CCIA promotes businesses and organizations in the region. It supports community growth and economic development by organizing events such as the Rally, networking activities, training, and services that showcase local economic contributors.
The Rallye de la CCIA featured a variety of Argenteuil merchants in industries such as the arts, entertainment, history, and food and beverage.

Approximately 20 teams participated in the scavenger-hunt-style challenge, visiting 20 CCIA member businesses across Argenteuil. Some teams dressed up for the occasion as part of the experience, also making them easily identifiable as they explored the region.
Participants voted Bar Chez Dédé and Jeux Saute-Mouton as their favourite businesses and activities of the day. Other notable mentions included Calumet Falls Retreat & Spa, Musée régional d’Argenteuil, and Casse-croûte de La Shop à Mémère.
The event wrapped up with a corn roast and prizes awarded at Parc Barron.
