Tulmar Safety Systems Inc. has been selected by Global Affairs Canada to participate in the official Team Canada delegation to the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition, known as MSPO, in Kielce, Poland, where Canada will serve as the Lead Nation. Team Canada programming begins September 7, followed by the MSPO exhibition from September 8 to 11.
MSPO is Europe’s largest annual defence and security exhibition and the leading defence industry event in Central and Eastern Europe. The 2026 exhibition is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors, more than 900 exhibitors and more than 60 official government and military delegations. Senior Canadian officials will include elected officials and senior members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Canada has been designated the Lead Nation for MSPO 2026. This status will provide participating Canadian companies with increased visibility and greater access to defence decision-makers, military procurement organizations and potential industry partners in Poland, across Central and Eastern Europe, and in other NATO markets.
“Being selected for the Team Canada delegation gives Tulmar an important platform to demonstrate the capabilities that a Canadian designer and manufacturer from Hawkesbury can bring to allied defence,” said Ève Léveillé, Marketing Leader at Tulmar. “With Canada serving as the Lead Nation, MSPO will help us strengthen our existing relationships across Europe and pursue opportunities in new NATO markets. It will also help Tulmar build new partnerships and advance our long-term international growth.”
Tulmar continues to advance its global growth strategy and strengthen its presence across European NATO markets, including through a significant program with the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy, under which the company has begun delivering thousands of Galeo tactical life preservers designed and manufactured in Hawkesbury. The program reflects Tulmar’s ability to deliver Canadian-made, life-saving equipment for demanding military environments while strengthening its international presence.
A five-member Tulmar delegation will attend MSPO to present the company’s Canadian defence and safety manufacturing capabilities and meet with military representatives, government officials and defence industry partners from Poland, Germany, Sweden and other NATO countries. Tulmar’s participation in the Team Canada delegation reflects the company’s continuing strategy to grow its international defence business while maintaining advanced manufacturing and skilled employment in Hawkesbury and Eastern Ontario.
