The Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District’s 9th Annual Slo-Pitch Tournament in Vankleek Hill raised more than $8,000 on Saturday, July 4.
The Vankleek Hill Cougars captured the title for the third consecutive year at the event held at Mill Street Park. Pat Mayer was the winner of the Home Run Derby.
The Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District thanks team member Christine Brunet and her family for their dedication, countless hours of planning, and hard work in organizing the tournament.
Every team, volunteer, sponsor, donor, and spectator who supported the tournament is also thanked. Their contributions help ensure the Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District can continue providing vital programs and services for people living with dementia and their care partners throughout our community.
