Spring is finally here, time to get your hands in the soil and start growing! Whether you’re an experienced gardener or trying it for the first time, the Champlain Library’s Seed Library makes it easy to get started. Thanks to the generous support of the Vankleek Hill & District Horticultural Society, library cardholders can pick up free seeds for vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
Seeds are now available, so stop by the library to get yours. If you’re not already a member, signing up is easy. Library membership is free for residents and students of Champlain, as well as residents of East Hawkesbury. For non-residents, memberships are available for $35 per person or $55 per family per year.
We love seeing what our community creates! As your garden begins to grow, consider sharing photos of your progress with us. Your gardening journey could be featured on the library’s website or social media, inspiring others to dig in and get growing.
