A woman from St-Eustache has been arrested for alleged drug-related offences in Lachute.

On April 25, Sûreté du Québec officers observed an exchange between two people, possibly involving narcotics, in the area of ​Rue Principale in Lachute. Officers intercepted the vehicle and, during the intervention, discovered narcotics and arrested the driver. The 29-year-old woman from St-Eustache was arrested and later released. She will appear in court at a later date in Saint-Jérôme. She could face drug-related charges.

Police seized more than 96 methamphetamine tablets, nearly 19 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of hashish, two cell phones, and a sum of money.
