A woman from St-Eustache has been arrested for alleged drug-related offences in Lachute.
On April 25, Sûreté du Québec officers observed an exchange between two people, possibly involving narcotics, in the area of Rue Principale in Lachute. Officers intercepted the vehicle and, during the intervention, discovered narcotics and arrested the driver. The 29-year-old woman from St-Eustache was arrested and later released. She will appear in court at a later date in Saint-Jérôme. She could face drug-related charges.
Police seized more than 96 methamphetamine tablets, nearly 19 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of hashish, two cell phones, and a sum of money.
