Arbor Gallery welcomes Guylaine Gagnier for her exhibition “Humeurs et ressentis”, which runs from October 24 to November 17. The show features over 40 paintings and mixed media artworks by the Hawkesbury-based artist.

Says Gagnier, “My artistic practice is a place of freedom, authenticity and spirituality. My creations often depict colorful characters that emerge from abstraction followed by multiple layers of paint. I believe they speak to my interest in humans and their presence.”

Gagnier’s style is unique and striking: “Opaque colors allow me to express myself boldly, frankly and whimsically,” she states. “By changing mediums, many parts of oneself can surface, yet the foundations of the artist’s unique voice remain.”
