Announced on September 17, the Township of North Glengarry is going through another staff change.
Anne Leduc, Director of Community Services, will be leaving the department to pursue the role of Executive Director of the Glengarry Inter Agency Group (GIAG). Leduc has provided numerous services since 2016 for her community.
“Anne has been a cornerstone in the community and… losing her is a big change,” Mayor Jamie MacDonald said.
Throughout her tenure, Leduc was an essential part of regional projects including the Glengarry Sports Palace refurbishment, the Maxville HVAC build, the Alexandria Skateboard Park expansion, and the development of the Community Improvement Plan. Leduc’s departure adds to the several staffing changes in the township’s recent history.
Sarah Huskinson, Chief Administrative Officer, stated that although the township is adapting to retirements and other staffing changes, “These present opportunities for growth for our team, as well as expanding our depth and breadth of knowledge with new additions.”
The Township of North Glengarry thanks Leduc for her years of dedication to her community. In the near future, a job posting for Director of Community Services will be available on www.northglengarry.ca.
