Area Holstein cattle owners have made a contribution to the fundraising campaign for patient lifts at the new Prescott and Russell Residence being constructed in Hawkesbury.

The Prescott County Holstein Club has contributed $3,300 to the Prescott and Russell Residence Foundation’s Lift Me Up! Campaign.

The contribution will go towards purchasing 204 Maxi Sky patient lifts for rooms at the new residence being constructed on Spence Avenue in Hawkesbury, which is scheduled to open later this year.

The foundation has set a fundraising goal of $1 million for the Lift Me Up! Campaign.

In December, 2023, the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society also contributed $3,300 to the campaign to purchase patient lifts for the new Prescott and Russell Residence.
