The colour and tradition that is equated with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) will be in Vankleek Hill on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Vankleek Hill fairgrounds.

The Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society has been on the wait list for this event since just prior to the pandemic in 2020.

An opening act will be part of the performance, which includes the RCMP Musical Ride, followed by a meet-and-greet with the public–a chance for photographs and to get close to the horses and riders.

Tickets are not on sale yet, but the organizing committee says they will be available in about four weeks. In the meantime, the committee is ensuring that everything is ready for the popular equestrian event.

The RCMP Musical Ride is known for its troop of 32 officers, who are also riders, as the equestrian team performs intricate drills and formations to music. The RCMP Musical Ride has toured the world.

Vankleek Hill welcomed the RCMP Musical Ride once before, in 2001.

June will be a busy month at the Vankleek Hill fairgrounds. On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society will present the Truck Show ‘n’ Shine. The rain date for this event is June 23, 2024.
