The Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) Foundation is inviting the public to join in for a memorable day and to help support a great cause.
The 40th anniversary of the HGH Foundation Golf Classic will be held on Wednesday, July 6, at the Hawkesbury Golf and Curling Club. Participants will get to play golf on an incredible course, while tasting some delicious food and drinks, as well as participating in fun activities along the way.
Players in the tournament will also get a chance to win some amazing prizes – including $1,000 cash. This will be followed by a banquet dinner, when prizes will be given out while participants enjoy a great meal.
The tournament is open to all ages and levels of players for a fee of $175 per golfer, which includes a covered golf cart and the dinner. On the day of the event, registration will be from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., and the shotgun start will be at 10:30 a.m.
Profits from this event will help the HGH Foundation achieve its fundraising mission aimed at improving care and services offered by the Hawkesbury hospital. This support provides for the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment needed by HGH to meet the health care needs of the community it serves.
Contributions will also help HGH develop new programs and services for its growing region. This will enable access to more specialty care, closer to home, for patients and their families.
