Sussex in concert tickets selling fast

The first concert of the season at the Arbor Gallery will feature 2021 Canadian Folk Awards Nominee duo Sussex on Tuesday, March 29, at 7:30 pm.

“Sussex is a fabulous duo,” says Sylvie Bouchard, who manages the gallery. “People are looking forward to an evening out and their music is amazing. We only have a handful of tickets left.”

Presented by Saken Music, with Michael Emenau on vibraphone and pianica and Rob Lutes on guitar, banjo, and vocals, their repertoire is an eclectic, exhilarating journey that is guaranteed to please fans of American roots music.

Gallery’s visitors can enjoy whimsical and unusual artwork at the gallery until Sunday. An online video viewing of the Perspective on Ceramic Art exhibition is available on the gallery’s Facebook page. Admission is free.

Exhibitions, events and pilot projects

“We are happy to bring a few interesting projects for spring, starting with our new speakers’ series, and welcoming a new exhibition by Jessica Sarrazin,” Bouchard enthused. “We will also launch our ‘Featured artists of the month’ pilot project in the small hall, and are working on a fundraising gallery sale, at the end of the month.”

Speaker Tom Cooper – Arbor Gallery Cultural Centre is starting their new series “Conversations with Interesting People” with guest speaker, author Thomas William (Tom) Cooper. Now living in Cornwall, the retired pilot turned author and humorist has written three books filled with humour and witty anecdotes. A fun filled evening with a talented storyteller, Saturday, April 23.

Altered States Exhibition – Artwork by Jessica Sarrazin, textile artist and photographer, will be in display in the main hall of the gallery, starting Thursday March 31, until Sunday April 24.
