The Vankleek Hill Curling Club’s Christmas Drive-Thru Dinner is again a success in 2021, with the December 11 event already sold out.
Club members will be serving up 320 home-cooked meals with all the fixings – turkey, potatoes, dressing, dessert and more – on Saturday, December 11, that motorists will be able to pick up in their vehicles. In 2020 – the first year for the event – club members served up 298 meals.
“It’s a great meal,” said Don MacNaughton, President of the Vankleek Hill Curling Club, noting the meal is plentiful and 90 per cent of those who purchased the dinners in 2020 are back for 2021. “It’s a big meal – you’ll be on the couch after dinner.”
Those who purchased Christmas dinners are asked to arrive at their preferred times on December 11. There will be a parking lot attendant on site to guide motorists. Only orders made in advance will be served. All precautions will be taken.
