The TD Summer Reading Club at the Champlain Library has been successful, but is soon coming to an end.

This summer, kids have had the the pleasure of reading, while taking part in activities all summer long. Activities this week include a Summer Story Time, recreating an old photo, DIY bird feeders and Make a Twig Sailboat Kit.

A wrap up event of the Summer Reading Club will take place on Wednesday, August 18, at 11 a.m.. at Woodshill Park on Home Avenue in Vankleek Hill. Library staff will be on site to organize a big ‘Simon Says’ game, and to hand out freezies, frisbees and prizes.

To participate, kids must be registered in the Summer Reading Club program and be a member of the Champlain Library. For more information visit the library’s website at bc-cl.ca or call 613-678-2216.
