Eight active COVID-19 cases in Argenteuil as of Friday

The number of active cases of COVID-19 across the MRC d’Argenteuil had decreased to eight as of Friday, November 13.  According to the CISSS des Laurentides regional health authority, the cumulative case count for Argenteuil was 254 as of Friday.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Argenteuil as of November 13 remained at 11.

Schools and long-term care

École Polyvalente Lavigne in Lachute and Centre d’éducation aux adultes CDC Lachute, were the two schools in the MRC d’Argenteuil with listed cases of COVID-19 as of November 12.

There were no outbreaks of COVID-19 at long-term care facilities, other group living institutions, or hospitals across the MRC d’Argenteuil as of November 12.

Under Québec`s COVID-19 regional alert system on restrictions and regulations, the MRC d’Argenteuil remained as an orange zone, as of November 13.

Québec statistics

Across Québec. there were 12,040 active cases of COVID-19 across Québec as of Thursday, November 12.  According to the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), there were 121,195 cumulative cases and 102,569 resolved cases as of Thursday.

There were 583 COVID-19 patients in hospital across Québec as of November 12, and 85 of those patients were in intensive care.

There had been 6,586 confirmed deaths due to COVID-19 across Québec as of November 12.
