29 active cases of COVID-19 in Prescott and Russell Residence outbreak on Thursday

The COVID-19 outbreak at the Prescott and Russell Residence in Hawkesbury had 61 cumulative cases on Thursday, October 22.

As of 3:45 p.m., there were 29 active cases and 32 resolved cases at the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR)-owned and operated long-term care facility.

Out of the active cases of COVID-19, 16 cases were in residents and 13 cases were in employees.

There has been one death in connection with the outbreak.

Paramedics continue to assist with care needs at the Prescott and Russell Residence and Canadian Red Cross personnel will be arriving at the facility to provide extra support in the coming days.
