The 2020 edition of Take Back the Night will look somewhat different from events which have taken place in previous years. The annual walk, which takes place all over the world, is to raise awareness of violence against women and in particular, sexual assault.

This year, women and girls in Prescott-Russell are being encouraged to walk on their streets and in their neighbourhoods, on their own, or in groups that they have already formed to respect physical distancing practices.

You can register online on the Centre Novas website to gain access to information and advocacy tools.

All women and girls are invited to participate in the 13th annual Take Back the Night Walk in Prescott-Russel on September 16 at 7:15 p.m.
