50 PROOF on Facebook Live July 11 to encourage VKH Food Bank donations

With this year’s edition of the Vankleek Hill Food Bank Jamboree cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local band 50 PROOF will be holding a Facebook Live event on its Facebook page on Saturday, July 11, in order to encourage donations to the local Community Assistance Fund. Money from the fund provides support to several groups in Vankleek Hill, including the Food Bank – which has seen increased demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.

50 PROOF will be playing live online from 11 a.m. to Noon and there is no obligation to make a donation in order to watch enjoy the music. Rather it is to fill in part of the gap left by cancellations of numerous musical events which would have been held in the area this summer. Anyone who would like to make a donation to the Vankleek Hill Community Assistance Fund can do so at any time via etransfer to [email protected]
