St. Jude Catholic School teachers make the rounds to congratulate Grade 8 graduates

On Thursday, June 25, Ms. Terry MacDonald (Grade 8 English teacher), Mme Roxanne Malette (Grade 8 French Immersion Teacher) and Mrs. Michelle Brasseur- Robillard (Principal) spent the day surprising the St Jude Catholic School Grade 8 graduating students.  Due to COVID-19 and school closures, a regular graduation ceremony was not possible.  The teachers planned a route that took them to St-Eugene, Vankleek Hill, Hawkesbury, Chute-à-Blondeau and Alfred to visit most of the 18 graduates, surprising them with a memory book, a T-Shirt, a class picture and some fun awards.  Students were thrilled to see their teachers and principal arrive and enjoyed the moment of recognitionThe teachers were happy to be able to say goodbye to their students and wished them every success as they move on to high school in the September.
