On Monday, May 11, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among residents in the MRC d’Argenteuil reached 34, which was an increase from 33 confirmed cases on May 10, according to the CISSS des Laurentides regional health authority.
There were 1,872 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on May 10 throughout the larger Laurentides region, which includes the MRC d’Argenteuil, seven other MRC’s, and the city of Mirabel. On May 10, there had been 1,833 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Laurentides region.
There were 133 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the Laurentides region on Monday, and 24 of those patients were in intensive care. The region had 70 COVID-19 deaths as of May 10, which was an increase from 68 deaths on May 9.
According to the CISSS des Laurentides, one resident and four employees at the CHSLD Argenteuil long-term care facility in Lachute had tested positive for COVID-19 as of May 11.
The CISSS des Laurentides is periodically publishing a list of the number of case amounts and ranges of approximate cases in each municipality in the MRC d’Argenteuil.

Outaouais
The MRC de Papineau borders the MRC d’Argenteuil to the west and includes Montebello, Fassett, St-André-Avellin, and Papineauville. As of May 11, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Papineau had increased to 38 from 37 on May 10.
The CISSS de l’Outaouais regional health authority has listed case numbers and the range of case numbers for local municipalities in the MRC de Papineau that have confirmed cases.

As of Monday, there had been eight deaths due to COVID 19 in the larger Outaouais region that includes the MRC de Papineau.
On May 11, there were 128 active cases of COVID-19 in the Outaouais region, and 210 resolved cases.

Across Québec 3,013 people had died from COVID-19 as of May 11, which was an increase from 2,928 deaths on May 10.
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 among Québec residents reached 38,469 on May 11, which was an increase from 37,721 on May 10. As of May 11, 1,838 COVID-19 patients were in hospital and 193 of those patients were in intensive care.
