Glengarry-Prescott-Russell MP Francis Drouin visited Glengarry Cheesemaking in Lancaster, Wednesday, June 26, to announce an investment of $162,833 under the Dairy Processing Investment Fund. The investment is part of a $918K expansion at Glengarry Cheesemaking and Glengarry Fine Cheese, which will see production increase for existing product lines as well as the introduction of butter and ice cream to the company’s product offerings. Glengarry Fine Cheese is a multiple-award-winning producer of cheese. The company has been producing fine cheeses and selling cheese-making equipment since 2004.
Margaret Peters-Morris of Glengarry Fine Cheese looks forward to adding butter and ice cream to the product line later this year.
