The federal government today announced that it is providing $100,000 in funding to help create jobs in Prescott-Russell, as well as to increase production to meet a greater market demand.
Francis Drouin, MP for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development in Vars.
Jack Larabie Distribution Inc. has decided to move to the Russell Industrial Park and the funds will enable the construction of a new building with a surface area of 4,500 square feet. This project will also create new jobs in Prescott-Russell, but also allow the company to better meet the growing market demand.
The distribution and logistics company will be more efficient by having all needs directly on site.
