Remember when you went to Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Hawkesbury for band practice, or a fashion show? What about Scouts? Would you like to see some old pictures and have take a walk down memory lane?
Parishioners are holding a “Remember When” roast beef fundraising supper in concert with the Hawkesbury Victim Services, sponsored by the Hawkesbury Rotary Club on May 17 from 5 to 7 pm at the church hall, 440 Stanley Street in Hawkesbury.
You are invited to celebrate the church’s and the church hall’s fun and diverse past. Come look at the posters and see if you can see yourself or a family member and enjoy a roast beef supper. Then you can purchase some home-baked goodies to take home.
Pre-order tickets for $18.00 by calling the church office at 613-632-9910, Linda Smith, Victim services at 613-677-3626 or Rotary Club at 613-677-4722. While you are here, we have a small ask.
More people are reading The Review than ever before — across our many platforms. So far, we have not put up a paywall to limit the stories you can read. We want to keep you in the news loop. But advertising revenues are increasingly going to the big two: you know who they are. If you value The Review’s independent, local community journalism, or you value the many ways we support dozens of community organizations in their endeavours, consider supporting our work. It takes time, effort and professional smarts to stay on top of community news and present well-researched, objective news articles on issues which matter to you.
If you read stories on this website, or you have come here from an Instant Article post on Facebook, think about subscribing. It would be a vote of confidence for the work that we do, and for the future well-being of your community.
