The Riceville Fair held an ATV pull on Friday, August 26, 2016.

New attractions increase attendance at Riceville Fair

The calculations are still being done, but Riceville Agricultural Society President Jason Clemens estimates that around 1,500 people attended the Riceville Fair this year.

“Our numbers were up a lot on Friday. The ATV stunt show and ATV-pull really brought in a large and new crowd,” said Clemens.

He estimates that there were around 350 people in attendance on Friday, nearly 1,000 on Saturday and around 200 on Sunday. Clemens said that both Friday and Saturday saw an increase in attendance.
