Peacefully at the Lancaster Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, May 11,2021, Elsie Margaret MacCrimmon formerly of Fassifern passed away at the age of 96. Wife of the late William D. MacCrimmon. Loving mother of Neil (Guylaine Cholette), Verna, Norman (Betty), John (Melissa). Predeceased by her daughter Heather (Bruno Lobb). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Nathan and Kyle MacCrimmon, Rodney Lobb (Margaret), Kevin Lobb (Tamsen), Jason Lobb (Jenny), Ryan Lobb (Philippa), Linda and Johnathan MacLeod, Margaret Anne Wharton (Colin), Kent MacCrimmon, Rebecca MacLennan (Donald), Janie Kennedy (Jeremy), step grandsons Duane Niedner (Tracy Eitel), John Dean Niedner (Olivia McCreary) and Zach Niedner (Brianna Rozak), great-grandchildren; Aurora, Garth, Grayson, Ruthie, Charlotte, Nolan, Campbell, Eliette, Emerson, Hailey, Ainsley, Isobel, Daisy, Clover, Kysen, and Ellyse. Predeceased by her parents Fred Lee Pollard and Florence Jane (nee Kent), and her siblings James (Agnes and Dorothy), Betty Buchan (John), Asenath McGibbon (Bert), Mary MacCaskill (Lewis), Ruth Drennan (John), Stanley (Jean). Survived by her sister Beth Frith (the late Bill) and her sister-in-law Vi Pollard. Elsie will always be remembered for her love of the outdoors, gardening and she also loved her family and extended church family. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at her church, St. John’s Anglican Church, Vankleek Hill at a later date followed by interment at McLaughlin Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.
