LITTLE, RONALD GRANT
Entered in to rest at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 in his 90th year. Survived and sadly missed by his brother, James (Barbara), 4 nieces, 3 nephews and his many friends. Predeceased by his parents, Trafford and Lillian Little, his wife, Allie Campbell and his brother, Glenn (Eileen). Grant was born in Chute-A-Blondeau in East Hawkesbury, Ontario and attended school there and in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. After some short-term jobs he moved to Oshawa to work for General Motors of Canada. During his 30 years with G.M., he built their cottage south of Bobcaygeon and a house in Dunvagan for Allie’s parents. They also owned and maintained an apartment building. Upon retirement Grant and Allie travelled extensively and spent many happy winters in Florida with a whole new circle of friends. He became an accomplished wood carver while enjoying the craft and teaching others to enjoy it as well. In accordance with Grant’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Graveside Service will take place at KENYON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY in Dunvegan, Ontario on Friday, May 19th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).
