Voters in the Town of Hawkesbury have many choices on the municipal election ballot.
Five candidates are running for mayor in the October 26 vote. The candidates for mayor are, in alphabetical order by last name; Jeanne Charlebois, Gilles Greffe, Denis Pirollo, Johanna Raso, and Julie Séguin.
The nine candidates for the six at-large Councillor positions are, in alphabetical order by last name; Sylvain Brunette, Mario Dicaire, Simon Guindon, Johanne Lapalme, Stephen Leighton, Denise Robitaille, André Rouleau, Yan Tremblay-Poisson, and Tony Tsourounakis.
In the mayoral contest, Charlebois and Séguin are incumbent councillors. Tsourounakis is the only incumbent Councillor running again in this election. Incumbent Mayor Robert Lefebvre, and incumbent Councillors Raymond Campbell, André Chamaillard, and Yves Paquette are also not running again.
