Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigators are hoping to speak to witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or security video after two incidents in Hawkesbury.

The similar incidents happened at a fast-food restaurant on Main Street East on Tuesday, June 10, and on Monday, June 23, both around 4 a.m.

In the first incident, two people smashed the front window and one person went inside and spread a gasoline-like liquid. In the second incident a single suspect was seen carrying a red jerry can. They smashed the window, but this time didn’t enter the business.

The individuals on June 10 are described as males, one wearing a dark hoodie, dark shorts and running shoes. The other was wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes. For the June 23 incident, the lone suspect was observed to be wearing dark colored clothing.

In the first incident the males arrived from the east on-foot and left the scene walking north beside the building. On June 23, the lone male was observed arriving in a dark coloured vehicle and fled eastbound on Main St in the same vehicle.
