Our very own regional Banksy of poetry, Brunty has been away in Bonnie Scotland for the last month reconnecting with his Scottish roots in the wild winds and mists of Fife.
Not only has he returned to his beloved Eastern Ontario but he will be returning to his ‘hame away frae hame’, The Windsor Tavern in Vankleek Hill on Saturday, November 9 at 3pm to launch his second volume of collected poems: A Brave Gulp.
Fans of Brunty’s accessible, insightful and witty poetry will be gob-smacked by this new volume of works.
It has been eight years since Brunty published his first volume ‘Shooting the Shit’ and he is thrilled to return to The Windsor where he will not only read a selection of his unique fire brand poetry but will also launch ‘A BRAVE GULP’ and happily sign your newly purchased volume which will regale and please during the long Winter months ahead.
