The Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) Foundation’s “There’s No Place Like Home” campaign was a resounding success, raising $17,100. The sixth edition was held at L’Orignal Municipal Park on Saturday, July 27th.
In total, the La Baie Run has raised close to $150,000 for the HGH, a truly remarkable accomplishment for the community.
The foundation’s initiatives help provide and expand high-priority medical equipment and services for the Hawkesbury area, including orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, advanced mammography, urology, and endoscopy.
The success of the 2024 edition of the La Baie Run was realized thanks to the gold sponsors of Harden, Ivaco Rolling Mills, Champlain Township, and Desjardins Group Schwaar Yelle Moore. Furthermore, the HGH truly appreciates the generosity of local individuals and those who volunteered, walked, or ran in the event.
