Police are investigating a serious collision on Highway 417 in East Hawkesbury.
According to the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), on Saturday, July 20, at approximately 3:15 pm, officers responded to a single vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of Highway 417, just west of County Road 14.
A three-year old passenger was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver and two additional passengers were also transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 417 at the collision site was currently closed.
The collision remains under investigation with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
