Hundreds of people took to Main Street in Hawkesbury on Friday, October 30, for the annual Halloween on Main event, as families and visitors of all ages gathered for an evening of trick-or-treating and community entertainment.

Children, parents, and four-legged friends made their way along Main Street, visiting participating businesses to collect treats. The turnout was significant enough that some local businesses ran out of candy and had to pack up early due to the high demand.

More than 51 local businesses, alongside the Town of Hawkesbury, participated in this year’s event, handing out candy to children along the route.

Organized by the Town of Hawkesbury, the event featured festive decorations, music, and roaming entertainment. This year’s event also introduced a new clue hunt for children, which began at Place des Pionniers.
