Students at local French-language schools recorded a mix of gains and declines in the latest Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) assessments, with results varying widely by school, grade, and subject.

On Friday, September 25, EQAO released its 2025-2026 assessment results for Grade 3 and Grade 6 mathematics, reading, and writing, Grade 9 mathematics, and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).  The OSSLT measures whether students meet the provincial literacy standard required for graduation. The results cover three schools in the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) and eight schools in the Conseil de district catholique de l’Est ontarien (CSDCEO).
