June is recognized internationally as Pride Month, a time that celebrates the diversity of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and acknowledges ongoing efforts toward equality, inclusion, and acceptance.

Throughout the month, communities across Canada and around the world mark the occasion through a variety of events, educational initiatives, and celebrations that highlight the contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in all aspects of society.

Pride Month traces its roots to events that helped advance LGBTQ+ rights and has since grown into an opportunity to recognize progress while continuing conversations about respect, understanding, and inclusion.

As June continues, Pride Month serves as a reminder of the importance of fostering communities where everyone feels valued and respected.
