The Sûreté du Québec continues to search for a man suspected in the murder of an organized crime figure in Laval in 2025.
On May 6, the Québec provincial police, in collaboration with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), searched a property on Concession 5 in East Hawkesbury in relation to the disappearance of Denis Beaupré, who was last seen in Montréal on October 5, 2025.
According to reports from the CBC, a warrant for Beaupré’s arrest has been issued for the murder of Charalambos “Bobby the Greek” Theologou at a Starbucks coffee shop in Laval on October 1, 2025. Beaupré has been charged with first-degree murder and recklessly discharging a firearm.
The CBC report also alleges Beaupré has a criminal past and connections to the Hell’s Angels. Theologou was allegedly head of a criminal gang known as the Chomedey Greeks.
On Thursday, May 14, Sergeant Marc Tessier of the Sûreté du Québec said there were no significant findings during the search of the East Hawkesbury property to find Beaupré. Officers searched residence, interviewed occupants, and used canine units and drones to search the surrounding area.
Tessier said the investigation and effort to locate Beaupré continues. He could not confirm the details made in the CBC report but said they are “not false.”
Anyone who may have seen or has information that could help locate Denis Beaupré is asked to contact the Sûreté du Québec immediately at the Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.
