The new branding for the Russell Township Public Library includes a new logo, updated visual identity, and a revamped website developed in collaboration with Cinnamon Toast New Media Inc. The library is stepping into a fresh new look that reflects its identity as a bilingual community hub and highlights its role in supporting learning, connection, and belonging across Russell Township.

The new brand identity draws inspiration from the rural character and natural beauty of the Township of Russell. The logo features interconnected, branch-like forms symbolizing growth and shared experiences, while abstract leaf elements represent the connection between literacy and personal development.

“The library has always been more than a place to borrow books, it is a place where people come to feel welcome, supported, and inspired,” said Library CEO France Séguin-Couture. “This new brand reflects who we are today: a vibrant, bilingual community space rooted in tradition, but always looking forward. It captures our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and the belief that everyone in our community deserves a place to explore and belong.”

The library’s new tagline, “Where Exploration Takes Root,” emphasizes the library’s role as both a place of discovery and a place of belonging. “Exploration” reflects learning, creativity, and innovation across all ages and languages, while “takes root” highlights the library’s deep connection to Russell Township, its rural character, and its lasting role in community life.
