The official artist lineup and dates for the annual Festival Multiculturel de Hawkesbury have been announced. The festival returns for its fifth edition from Friday, June 26, to Sunday, June 28, at Place des Pionniers on Main Street East.
The festival was founded in 2022 to promote inclusion and community cohesion, and has become a must-attend free event in the city. During its first four editions, approximately 20,000 people attended in total.
The initiative celebrates cultural diversity and Francophonie through performances by renowned artists over three days. The Town of Hawkesbury continues to support the local economy, energize the downtown core, and strengthen rural vitality, while placing community cohesion at the heart of the festival.
On the evening of Friday, June 26, artists Ludovick Bourgeois, Mélissa Bédard, Martin Deschamps, and Héloïse Yelle will launch the event, beginning with the opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 27, will feature Benkadi at noon, the traditional artistic group founded in 2011 through the collaboration of artists from diverse backgrounds, including Guinea, Senegal, Haiti, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, France, Mexico, and Canada. Benkadi will be followed by Zale Seck, Jean Jean Roosevelt, Lyv and Let Die, Michel Mpambara, and Boogie Wonder Band, who will close out the night.
The final day of the festival will feature Les Voix du Monde, with performances by Mélanie Charrier, Mapoko, Dany Rebel, Manoel Vieira, and Dano beginning at 1 p.m.
Throughout the Festival weekend, Déjà Vu Restaurant & Bar will broadcast the 2026 FIFA World Cup in-house.
Attendees are reminded not to bring their own food and beverages on-site, as these will be confiscated. Food and beverage services will be available through a variety of local offerings.
