The city of Lachute’s annual Marche aux Flambeaux took place on the evening of Friday, February 20, welcoming residents of all ages to stroll along tiki torch-lit paths at Parc Richelieu while enjoying a variety of traditional winter activities.
Maple taffy poured onto fresh snow, outdoor fireplaces for warmth, a selection of local brews and treats were available throughout the evening. Free hot chocolate and coffee, provided by municipal staff, helped ensure participants stayed warm during the wintery walk. Live music and cornhole games added to the festive atmosphere, with performances by Guillaume Asselin.
