Refrigeration equipment is important for making curling rink ice and the Vankleek Hill Curling Club recently had to replace the ice condenser/chiller for their ice. As a fundraiser to cover the cost of the new condenser/chiller, the club is hosting a Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, January 31. All proceeds will go to the cost of the new refrigeration equipment.
The tournament begins at 11 am and costs $30 per team. No experience is necessary. The tournament is open to everyone. Single players are welcome and will be paired with other single players that day.

And the winter’s biggest fundraiser at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club is coming up on Saturday, February 7. The annual University of Ottawa Heart Institute Bonspiel is that day. It includes a smoked meat meal open to everyone. For more information about the bonspiel, contact the Vankleek Hill Curling Club.
