A Grenville-sur-la-Rouge resident was arrested after police found a variety of illegal drugs, contraband cannabis, and a weapon at a residence on chemin de la Baie-de-Grenville on Wednesday, October 22.

A 55-year-old man was arrested on the scene by the Sûreté du Québec and remained in custody for a court appearance at the Saint-Jérôme courthouse. He was facing charges related to narcotics, illicit cannabis, and firearms offenses.

During this operation, police seized more than 70 methamphetamine pills, over 300 prescription pills, cannabis, cocaine, a firearm, and cash.

The operation stems from an investigation initiated following information received from the public.
