On Sunday, September 7, families enjoyed good food and fresh fragrances as they browsed local vendors and artisans along Main Street in Vankleek Hill.

Excellent Events once again organized the annual event in partnership with Champlain Township, which featured fresh produce from local farmers, handmade crafts, and a diverse selection of food truck offerings from across the region.
Samme Putzel of Excellent Events estimated that 5,000 people attended throughout the day to explore the local offerings and support producers and vendors, where many sold out of their products.
“It was another fabulous event,” Putzel said. “The festival is a prime example of what a community can do when pulling together, and I want to be sure to thank all the volunteers, the township and municipalities, and the attendees. As long as people love food, we’ll continue to put on this event.”
Live music kept shoppers moving as they explored the offerings. Maple syrup products, jams and jellies, specialty vinegars, and freshly pressed juice were just some of the food items available. Visitors could also find woodworking, crafts, and a variety of unique trinkets.
