One person has been charged in connection with the fatal collision on Highway 138 in North Stormont on March 29.
33-year-old Amanda Maloney of North Stormont, who was widely known through her Swiss Farmer Bakery business, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As a result of an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a charge has now been laid against one of the other drivers involved in the collision.
Nantharagu Sangaramoorthy, age 50 of Ajax, which is east of Toronto, has been charged with careless driving causing death.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on September 23, 2025.
