A facility that provides community health and social services in Grenville remains temporarily closed.

According to Communications Representative Audrey Choquette of the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) des Laurentides regional health authority, the Centre local des services communautaires (CLSC) on rue Maple (Route 344) in Grenville has been temporarily closed since Wednesday, August 13th due to significant water damage that occurred in the building the day before.

The services offered at the Grenville CLSC have been temporarily relocated to another location. Choquette said the CISSS des Laurentides has taken all necessary measures to maintain services to users. Affected users have been contacted, and appointments have been moved to the Centre multiservices de santé et de services sociaux d’Argenteuil in Lachute.

The CISSS des Laurentides is attempting to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and resume CLSC services in Grenville.
