As hockey season draws closer, the Junior “A” Hawkesbury Hawks have announced the signing of a player from the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League in southwestern Ontario.
Right-winger Colton Henderson of Wellesley, near Kitchener previously played for the Junior “B” Listowel Cyclones of nearby Listowel.
Henderson scored 24 goals and 21 assists for 45 points with Listowel last season.
The Hawkesbury Hawks main camp for the upcoming season begins on August 24.
