A camper van was destroyed by fire late in the afternoon on Friday, August 8 in Hawkesbury.
According to Hawkesbury Fire Department Captain Patrick Mayer, at 4 pm, firefighters were called to the propane filling station at the Crevier gas station at the corner of Main Street East and Gladstone Street.
Firefighters extinguished the burning vehicle and remained at the scene for awhile after it was out.
Mayer said there were no injuries because of the fire and the cause remained unknown.
