An exhibition of work by 24 local artists will take place throughout August at the Big Beaver Schoolhouse at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum. The event is being presented by The Collectif of Glengarry artists. The vernissage is Saturday, August 9 from 11 am to 1 pm. All are welcome to meet the artists, view the 58 works which will be on display, and have refreshments. Enjoy a variety of styles, topics, artists, and vote for your favourite!
The exhibition will continue until August 31, and will be open during museum hours, which are 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
The Collectif is also presenting its Affordable Art $ale at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum on Saturday, August 23.
Original artworks will be priced to appeal. Add some zing to your home or consider a gift or start Christmas shopping! The sale will take place in the pavilion, beside the schoolhouse.
