The 2025 Champlain Charity Jamboree raised $11,212 for the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) Foundation.
The event was held on Saturday, July 5 at The Windsor Tavern in Vankleek Hill. Six local bands and solo artists performed throughout the day.
The funds raised at the Jamboree for the HGH Foundation will be used to purchase a new CPR machine for the Emergency Department at HGH. Foundation Executive Director Erin Tabakman said the machines have proven safer for staff to use and have resulted in better outcomes for patients.
The new CPR machine costs $27,000. Tabakman said the HGH Foundation also recently received a $10,000 grant from the J.P. Bickell Foundation towards the new machine.
Among the donations to the Jamboree final total were a $3,000 contribution from Scotiabank in Vankleek Hill.
Champlain Charity Jamboree organizers thank everyone who contributed by purchasing tickets and to the sponsors who made donations and contributed services and products to make the event possible.
